LE RIGHTS sells ‘Scary Larry’ animation series in Spain
LER has sold ‘Scary Larry’ to the RTVE group for its CLAN channel, leader on the Spanish market. It is also currently in negotiations with MBC 3 in the Middle East.
The animated sitcom series boosted by a fiendishly awesome soundtrack by the “Insomniac Babies”, with members of the ”Plastiscines” (a hip all-female rock group) and ”Second Sex” won over the public channel despite a generally gloomy climate that seems, however, to be turning around…
The series (52x13’) is already airing in Brazil (Globosat), Bosnia, Serbia, Macedonia and Montenegro (RTS), and was a Genao Productions, 1492 Television, and Cartoon Pictures coproduction for Canal + Famille

There’s Larry, Victoria the vampire, Franck the creature, Cleo (aka the bandage kid), and Carl, the fiend from another planet…they all dream of glitter and glory but for now they’re just behind on their rent. As if being a teenage monster weren’t hard enough…!
